Proxies were sent out to all owners asking for their approval to replace the ground level wood patio fences and car port shades (fences) with vinyl, and the patio gates with black powder-coated aluminum (the same combination currently at our pool complex). This project would eliminate the need to constantly repair deteriorating wood and, in the long run, save the Association money as well as improving the overall appearance of the community.

 

Deadline for voting was the special Membership Meeting, held online via Zoom, on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, before our Monthly Board of Directors Meeting. The results are as follows: 169 owners took part in the voting via Proxy or in person; the measure to replace the wood fences with vinyl was approved 160 to 8; the measure to replace the gates with aluminum was approved 147 to 18 (totals do not add up to 169 because some people voted for one item and not the other). 75% of the voting membership was required to pass each resolution so both measures passed.

 

Work on the project should begin in the fourth quarter of the year 2022.
